POLICIES

  • To secure a spot on a tour or an adventure activity, full payment is required. Once payment has been made, you will receive a confirmation email with the date of your tour. Please check availability in advance through our contact channels.
  • To book a group tour or activity (more than 8 people) the full price must be paid one week prior to departure.
  • Ocean-related activities are subject to weather, wave and visibility conditions.
  • Prices for children depend on their age and are specified for each tour and activity. Children must always be accompanied by an adult.
  • Should Tiko Tours be liable for default or fail to comply with the arranged services, a full refund of the amount paid will be made (deducting bank fees).
  • Travelers who fail to arrive at the meeting point within ten minutes after the appointed time will not be entitled to a refund.
  • Travelers suffering from a medical condition must inform the company when booking a tour or activity.
  • Tiko Tours assumes no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal belongings such as cameras, binoculars or mobile phones during a tour or activity.
  • Tours are always made on the arranged dates. If the weather conditions are deemed unsafe, the company will inform the traveler as promptly as possible by phone or mail.
  • Tiko Tours assumes no responsibility for delays that may occur in a destination, place or activity due to road closures or weather conditions.
  • In the event that the booked vehicle should be forced to take an alternative route, said circumstances may result in an additional charge, subject to the terms and conditions of the transportation service provider.
  • A tour or activity may be booked privately if the minimum number of participants has not been reached, as indicated for each tour or activity.
  • Each transportation service provider has its own terms and conditions. To transport pets, extra luggage or bulky items please contact Tiko Tours. Additional fees may apply.
  • Tiko Tours services are provided every day, except when the minimum number of participants has not been reached or maximum occupancy is exceeded. In such cases, the company will reschedule the activity or refund the money paid (deducting bank fees) in agreement with the traveler.
  • Should the traveler have an inconvenience or be unsatisfied with a tour or activity, they must immediately inform Tiko Tours. Depending on the circumstances, the company will consider a partial refund of the money paid (deducting bank fees).
  • If, for any reason, a traveler decides to cancel a booking the day before the tour or activity, no refund will be made.
  • Should a traveler need to change or cancel a transportation service, such service will be rescheduled or, if not possible, a refund will be made, according to the terms and conditions of the transportation service provider.
  • Applicable cancellation fees for each tour or activity are established by the respective service providers. Cancellations made 48 hours or less before schedule are nonrefundable.
  • Cancellations of individual bookings will be subject to a $15 charge (in addition to bank and/or service provider charges). Changes of tour dates and times, subject to availability and the terms established by each provider, will be processed without penalty.
